The City of Greenbrier lies approximately 23 miles north of Nashville along the Hwy 41 corridor between Goodlettsville and Springfield. This quaint, rural town in Robertson County was incorporated in 1937. The popular Turning of the Pig celebration is held annually on July 3rd. This community-wide festival provides great food (including hundreds of pounds of barbecue cooked on open pits), live entertainment, games, local craftsmen, and tons of family fun! Louise Martin Memorial Park has three ball fields, a play area for children, several picnic areas, designated walking/running trails, plus a large open area available for various recreational activities. Beginning in March and running through October, you can visit Highland Rim Speedway on the weekends to enjoy late model, open wheel, sportsman pro trucks, and other classes of round track racing. Highland Rim is located on Kelly Willis Road between Ridgetop and Greenbrier.
